Case Description

Children of our apartment complex came across a disillusioned owl in the car parking lot. we immediately brought it home and provided it with a feed of clean water and small pieces of raw chicken, on such advice by a bird rescuer. Being under Wildlife category, it was to be picked up by an NGO the next morning. But unfortunately the owl could not make it through the night and passed away. It was an old owl and probably suffered trauma on his fall from a height. Contradictory to warnings, advice and suggestions given by few people, as to getting an owl home could lead to ill luck or bad omen, we did not face any such ridiculous ill happenings. An owl is an owl! Just another living being!
