Case Description
NGO : YODA
CZAR, a 1/2 years, Great Dane, was found wandering on a street of Lonavala, by a couple from Mumbai, when on a holiday there. He was drenched in the outpour of the monsoons and was malnourished with all his bones jutting out. The kind couple picked him and got him home, but their two dogs did not take up well with CZAR. YODA was hence contacted and CZAR came to us for fostering, after a thorough check with a vet to certify him clear of anything contagious. The priority was to get him back to good health. Hence, he was started on a feed of dry dog food, with daily intake of 1kg which was divided into four meals. CZAR responded well to the diet, and in a month fattened up, with no more bones on display! When a prospective adoptive family visited him, it was mutual love for the family and CZAR. And CZAR went to his fur ever home.
