Case Description
When the hot liquid burned my skin and I was being treated at the YODA shelter, I had given up hope. I always was a peppy girl. Now I felt betrayed. But Neha and the other staff at the shelter rebuilt my hope. They tended to me physically and mentally , and how!
I was ready to go to my new home, after 3 long months of treatment. But again, though prospective families were keen in me, one from US even, I couldn’t leave, because of the fragile, unpredictable, current situation.
And one day a couple drove all the way , amidst the lockdown, just to meet me and take me home. Today I sit in my house, goofing around with my parents and barking, sitting at the window.
My parents are in love with me and I love them too.
